Loving Relationships

Many people who seek love look outward rather than inward. Yet, falling in love with your SELF can be a more wonderful experience than “falling in love” with someone else. Though the idea of falling in love with ourselves may be perceived by the unenlightened to be conceited or selfish, choosing to fall in love with the Divine Being you are is a powerful act of SELF love.

Observe those around you. Observe you. Are you looking outside your SELF for the LOVE you desire?

The scriptures tell us…”if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things.”

If Light, then, imparts comprehension, what comes to us as the Gift of Divine Love?  What happens when our whole bodies are filled with LOVE?

As discussed earlier and emphasized repeatedly in our classes, emotions and feelings are responsible for the release of hormones and other chemical substances in our physical bodies.

Our words, thoughts, feelings, emotions, and actions are very powerful, and powerfully affect our own bodies.  Our cells, tissues, and organs are literally bathed in the biochemicals resulting from our own input.  Anger, envy, hatred, and jealousy, for example, release toxins which result in pain, dis-ease, and/or death.  Love, joy, peace, and purity release life-enhancing, life-giving, feel-good substances into our physical systems.

These chemicals wash first throughout the entirety of our physical forms, then through our own energy fields, pouring from us into our environments, affecting everyone and everything within our entire PPR (personal perceptual range).

This is an inescapable Universal Law: Whatever happens with us emotionally affects us first and foremost, and it does affect the family/group/mass consciousness grid as well.

I have so many people ask if this can be avoided or neutralized somehow.  After all, they say, “everyone” gets angry.  🙂  I recall being told and taught that “everyone” gets sick, until one day an enlightened woman explained to me that she and her entire group of acquaintances did not experience illness.

My first thought was that she was joking, then I realized she was entirely serious, and very happy!  As I questioned her about her experience, she further explained that illness, in fact everything except perfection, is caused by some mistake in our thinking.  We believe in sickness, so we experience it.

That was forty years ago, and it’s been many years since I’ve experienced illness.  I chose to believe her, and I daily choose to believe that we are all intended to experience divine perfection.

It’s just one more logical step to embrace Divine Love so fully that anger, discord, hatred, even irritability, simply evaporate from my consciousness.  It’s actually effortless to let them all go.  Besides, it doesn’t make sense to waste time or energy with emotions that benefit no one.

Exactly as perfect health is our natural state, divine love, joy, peace, harmony, and bliss are natural to us.  These are our birthright, our heritage, and the legacy we can bring to Earth and all her inhabitants.

My best friend always says, “Love makes it go!”  She’s talking about manifestations and miracles when she says this.  Love is the energy that brings about manifestations and miracles, as well as abundance and perfect health.  We all have it within us, this Divine Love.  Now, more than ever before, it’s time to bring it out, to pour it out upon the world we live in, to bless All Life everywhere with Love.

Whatever you do, do it with Love.  Most of all, let LOVE guide your life.  Until next blog, namaste!

All LOVE is Unconditional

WOW!  Imagine that!  A Mormon matriarch is quoting Bob Marley in a Reiki blog!  I picked him for a reason.  Everyone owns a golden nugget or two to share with the world!

ALL LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL.

Whatever is conditional, isn’t LOVE!

What if…it isn’t TRUTH either!

To paraphrase a popular poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, “How do you love me?  Please count the ways!”  What I really want to know is, do you genuinely, really, sincerely, truly love me, no matter what, or is your only purpose for being in my life to change me?  Do you intend to change me?  Because…if you do, that means you find fault with me, you find something “wrong” with me, and that is judgment pure and simple.  Anyone who looks at another person and sees anything except a Divine Child of God, stands in danger of Judgment.

Love means…I love you clean or dirty, sober or reeling, good or bad, no matter what!

What the world calls love usually means that, “I love you as long as you…do what I want, fulfill my expectations, abide by my rules, believe what I believe, let me make all the decisions and live the lifestyle I choose for you.” It can also mean, “I love you as long as you do what I say, meet my demands, and cater to my every whim.” I’ve never found any bottom line to this, and it’s amazing how many people relate to each other in this way.

I’ve observed this way of relating for many years.  It’s one reason I experienced difficulty staying active at church.  There’s something about an attitude of “Follow ME!  I know The Way and it’s The Only Way!” that borders on insanity, especially when demands are made that cast aside all genuine acceptance of Free Agency.  My eldest son maintained a dictum in all his relationships, “It’s my way or the highway!”  Not much respect for one’s partner or for others there.

Contrary to widely accepted practices, I didn’t demand that my children attend church once they reached the age of accountability. Consequently, only one of my five chose to remain active.  To this day, I prefer the sincerity of that one to the reluctant activity of all five.

Here are two easy, fun exercises to use if you are so inclined:

Most of you know how much I love working with children.  I’m always looking for fun teaching tools that impact their consciousness on as many multiple levels as possible, visual, auditory, gustatory, and tactile,  encouraging movement and participation, and holding attention.  This one is designed for all children, even adults who remain young-at-heart!

Years ago, I began the practice of singing love songs and quoting love poems to my own perfect I AM Presence.  I made a game of it, rewriting lyrics and lines to express this Divine Love.  This usually requires only very minor adaptations, if any, and joyously expresses loving devotion to my SELF!  This has provided me with countless hours of fun and works with music and voice as well.  I did this with EBB’s poem.  Try it with something you enjoy!

How Do I Love Thee

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

Reiki in the New Year 2010

In the previous post just before this one, we spoke about the biological requirements for oxygen, water, and food substances. Today we are expanding upon those a bit, as well as introducing what may be new to some of you readers, our biological requirement for light.

Let’s begin with light.  The source for light on our planet is the sun we orbit.  In some traditions this heavenly fire body is known as the Great Central Sun.  All light emitted by the sun is charged with cosmic substance, which we know also as chi, ki, prana, and universal life force energy.

Every living creature requires this cosmic substance to continue and maintain the life of his physical form.  So…it behooves us to hone our individual ability to optimize the intake of chi. Here are a few simple suggestions:  Breathe deeply outdoors for a minimum of 15 minutes daily. If you’ve been indoors for some time without a real break, you may enjoy this experiment.  The next time you are feeling tired, eat a sweet fresh orange outdoors while walking for about 15 minutes. Breathe deeply.  Doing so in full sunlight may provide optimal results, but please don’t discount the presence of light even on cloudy, rainy, or snowy days.  Chi is always present in our atmosphere, and what is most beneficial is the deep breathing outdoors where the most chi is. Combining the intake of chi with the consumption of a fresh orange optimizes and enhances the effects of this exercise.

What if you are sun-sensitive?  Do the experiment anyway, please. Wear a large brimmed hat to prevent exposure of your skin to direct sunlight.  You’re doing this for the chi, rather than for exposure to sunlight.

If you enjoy sun on your skin, so much the better.  Optimal results are attained without clothing, or with as little clothing as possible. Use your imagination, and ENJOY!

Oxygen is our next requirement.  We just practiced some deep abdominal breathing outdoors, hopefully in sunlight.  We’re on the way to great things!

Let’s speak briefly about how to optimize respiratory function. It makes sense that, when every cell, molecule, and atom of our respiratory system functions optimally, we get not only the best possible intake of oxygen, but also the greatest intake of chi.  So, without getting into a long discourse about how to take care of one’s lungs, I’ll just make a couple of very simple suggestions.

Something I do myself and highly recommend is twice daily use of the NeilMed system.  It’s like a neti pot on steroids 🙂 and is available in the pharmacy at any WalMart store for about $11.00 USD.  No, I’m not advertising for WalMart.  It’s just the least expensive source I’ve located so far, and this is an incredible product, very effective.  Buy some extra boxes of solution packets, if possible.  These are about $7.00 USD per box.  Please don’t try mixing your own nasal cleanser.  I did. Take my word for it.  Or not.  BTW, the neti pot uses plain salt (non-iodized) and warm water, so no mixture packets are required.

Read directions thoroughly.  I’ve posted some video instructions below for anyone who is interested; these are available on YouTube for both the NeilMed system and the neti pot.  The neti pot uses gravity, while NeilMed works with gentle pressure.  I prefer Neil Med. Make up your own mind.  Should you choose to cleanse you nasal passages using either, you are likely to be amazed by what clears.

Let’s go on to water.  Water consumption is something I’ve always considered obvious, yet everyday I meet people who do not drink water, at all.  Fluids, liquids, and water are not the same and are not interchangeable when intending to attain and maintain optimal health.

A few years back, I was suddenly hospitalized with a very high fever and severe pain.  Doctors patiently explained that I must have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder.  That seemed really drastic to me, considering that my gallbladder and its secretions serve a wonderful purpose and I have no desire to try to regrow mine. I withdrew and asked for guidance.  As I was still praying, an ad flashed onto the TV screen in my room, and I unmuted the sound so I could hear it.  I’d never seen the ad before, ever, nor have I ever seen it since, and at that time I’d never heard anything about such a product.  It is bottled artesian water called eVamor. Stunned by the simplicity and immediacy of this divine suggestion, I summoned the nurse’s station and asked for the paperwork to sign myself out AMA, against medical advice. They argued valiantly in a united heroic effort to save my life.  I’ll always remember the young surgeon who sat patiently with me, telling me that I would most likely die of pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer, as well as the anger of the nurse who removed my IV, ripping my arm open.

As I waited downstairs for my ride, I called the local water delivery company and ordered two cases of eVamor.  With the devoted assistance of a dear friend who administered flower essences for my problems, as well as strict adherence to a meatless, fat-free diet for eight weeks, and copious consumption of eVamor, I’ve never had so much as another twinge!  My gallbladder is intact and functioning perfectly!

To the best of my knowledge, eVamor is still the most alkaline drinking water currently available in the USA.  The ingredients are listed on the website.  While there are other brands of alkaline water available, I did try most of them to compare, then continued using eVamor.   It’s delicious and tastes noticeably heavier or denser than other waters.

Replace your current bottled water with eVamor for at least one month.  If you eat flesh foods, doing so is especially important in maintaining health.  That’s exercise 3.

Briefly, let’s survey foods that raise vibration.  Years ago, my guides (see Who I AM page) listed foods according to the impact of each upon personal vibration.  Sun fruits are most desirable vibrationally; these are banana, mango, papaya, persimmon, pineapple.  We usually think of these as tropical simply because they are grown nearest the equator and soak up the most sunlight, as well as chi.  Dates fall into this category, as well, but should be used sparingly by anyone having a tendency to blood sugar fluctuations.

Citrus fruits are excellent, being useful mostly for clearing and cleansing the body.

Regular fruits like apples, peaches, apricots, nectarines, and pears, come next and can be used as dietary mainstay, especially during winter months when available sun fruits are not always of the highest quality.  (Persimmons are normally used in fall just when mango goes out of season.)

Grapes and melons are excellent for fruit fasts and salads. Watermelon especially has very high water content and is excellent for improving one’s health.

Berries in season are excellent.

Nuts, including coconut, are excellent sources of raw protein.  Try making your own version of  heavy cream:  2 cups of raw cashews or other nuts soaked overnight in pure water, then blended to the smoothest consistency, preferably in a Vita-Mix.  If using a regular blender, the cream can be strained through cheesecloth or a fine sieve.

Avocado, bell pepper, and tomato are fruits as well, and combine for a luscious salad.  Add a touch of olive oil with fresh lemon or lime, please.

Perhaps I need to state emphatically here that I AM neither encouraging nor discouraging vegetarianism.  Food intake is a personal choice, and I feel very strongly that each person is fully capable of making individual choices as well as knowing personal bodily requirements for optimal  health.  What I AM saying is that following the suggestion for alkaline water can be especially beneficial for those who love consuming acid forming foods.  If you love eating flesh foods, please pay extra attention to your intake of alkaline water.

Optimize your intake of alkaline foods.  Five or more servings daily, please.  And please do be imaginative as well as creative when preparing and enjoying your food!  Smoothies are wonderful. So are salads.  You are not being encouraged to consume a boring diet!  That’s exercise 4.

If you do all these exercises, you’re almost certain to notice immediate results, as well as ongoing improvements as you continue them.  Since your health is important, not only to you, but to the entirety of Earth and all her inhabitants, every personal improvement you make pays huge dividends for all of us here, as well!  We are all important to each other!
