The Sacredness of You

“Some things are true whether you believe in them or not.”

Seth in City of Angels

If there were one thing, and one thing only, that I could share with others, it would be the awareness of their own sacred nature.

Awareness comes to each of us as we become still and allow it to surface.  Almost every child feels special.  In God’s eyes, we are all special.  Why are we humans not always special in our own eyes?

The truth is, there is not one atom or molecule that is less than sacred.  LIFE, all life, is sacred.  Our physical bodies are sacred. Our very breath is sacred, for with the first breath, we become a living soul, and as the last breath departs, the spirit goes with it.

If you really, truly knew you were sacred, would you behave differently?  Think differently?  Feel differently?  Live differently? Eat differently?  Drink differently?  Practice and form different habits?  Interact with others differently?  See and perceive others differently?

My suggestion to those of you who meditate is that you ask to know your own sacredness.  I personally guarantee that sincerely asking this does bring certain knowledge.

I’d love to share some random comments and observations at this time:

Ego/Power and SELF-Mastery are different things.

JOY and levity are not the same thing.

So long as you seek Divinity outside your SELF, you will not find it. From the moment when you discover the Divinity within you, Divinity is all you ever find.

Death is optional.  Illness is optional.  Pain is optional.  Master your physical body, and the choice is yours!

First master SELF!  Perfect Self-Mastery produces the Divine Power to control your entire world.

Master each principle before teaching it.  Refrain from teaching that which you have not first mastered!

“All things are sacred in the lives of those who are spirit led; that is, subordinated to truth, ennobled by love, dominated by mercy, and restrained by fairness – justice. The spirit which my Father and I shall send into the world is not only the Spirit of Truth but also the spirit of idealistic beauty.”
